The popularity of e-commerce in the Czech Republic is rising steadily. Traditional food chains are gradually entering the world of online sales, after the first wave of the electronics segment. The first forerunner in our country, the British Tesco online store, is going to be followed by the German companies Lidl and Kaufland this year.
Increased demand for online purchases also brings not only the need to expand warehouses but also link online sales and off-line sales. Both competing Czech on-line supermarkets Rohlík.cz and Košík.cz are dealing with establishing dispensing points, for example through the networks of petrol stations.
